I believe in stepping out of your comfort zone. I believe in adapting to your environment.

When I was 25, I decided to look for design position outside of my comfort zone and in a new location. I realized that after 2 years of industrial design that I needed a challenge. I found a job in a different state, about two hours away. Without knowing anyone, the area I’d be moving to, or exactly what the job would entail, I decided to go for it. I stayed at that company for almost 10 years, and along the way I learned new skills, I got to know my colleagues, found friends, traveled across continents, and made a life for myself. Eventually I got married, had a family and moved away, but I will never forget that experience. It made me a stronger, more independent person. It made me believe anything is possible.

I believe in smart design. Sometimes less is more.

I believe in research, strategy and creative thinking.

I believe that I am a very well-rounded designer and art director. I’ve created presentations, custom promotional and product designs for clients such as Diageo, Unilever, Parlux (Rihanna & Jessica Simpson), Coty, Yves Rocher, Ulta, Bacardi®, Maker’s Mark®, Godiva®, Martha Stewart, and many more.

I have art directed successful greeting card, gift bag, gift wrap and gift tag programs that were presented to mass retailers and specialty customers like Costco, Walmart and Target.

I have experience in just about every aspect of design including web design. I have extensive knowledge of photography, photo-editing, copy writing and editing as well.

I believe that I can help anyone achieve what they are looking for through my experience in design, trend research and creative strategy.
